Opening Hours:
As our cattery is located within private property, please note that we are open by appointment only for all arrivals and departures Monday-Saturday. Please ensure yoou book your arrival times with us directly to avoid any dissapointment of not being able to gain access to the property.
We are closed on Sundays and all Victorian Public Holidays.

Cattery Rates:
$24 per night for a single cat in its own enclosure
$36 per night for 2 cats sharing a double enclosure
$46 per night for 3 cats sharing a tripe enclosure
10% discount for stays more than 28 days
**Please note – due to the ever rising cost of living expenses, all rates will be increasing in February 2025. New rates are still being discussed and will be posted soon.
Mini Pet Rates:
(Rabbits and Guinea Pigs)
$30 per night for standard enclosure (maximum 1 Rabbit or 2 Guinea Pigs per enclosure)
10% discount for stays more than 28 days
Sorry, no LARGE/GIANT breed rabbits can be accepted due to our enclosure sizes.
5-night minimum stay during ALL Victoria School holidays and throughout the months of December and January.
3-night minimum stay applies at all other times.
Trial nights for first timers are able to be approved and arranged directly with us depending on circumstances. Please reach out directly with us if you feel you need to arrange a trial night. Please do not book a trial night through the online booking portal.
Other Important Information
For first time guests, it is recommended that you bring something that smells of you, such as an old T-Shirt or blanket.
For the safety and security of all our guests, please ensure you transport your pet in a carrier, as it is a legal requirement that all animals be secured while travelling in vehicles. Wandin Valley Cattery and Mini Pet Boarding recommend transporting your pet in an appropriate-sized pet carrier with handle, that you can secure using a seat belt.
We will NOT accept an animal into our facility unless we have ALL of your contact details, vet/vaccination details AND your local emergency contact details, as well as signed terms and conditions of entry.
Long term bookings (more than 60 days) will require a 50% deposit and any bookings without a confirmed end or pick up date will require regular fortnightly payments towrds your account.
During Summer/Bushfire season, we ask that you leave your pet carrier with us to use for your pet in the unlikely event of an evacuation.
Wandin Valley Cattery and Mini Pet Boarding reserves the right to refuse entry or cease care to any animal to our facility at our discretion. This could be for signs of illness or unpleasant behaviour towards any of our staff. If this occurs, it will be clearly communicated to you and collection of your animal will need to occur within 24 hours.
Veterinary Attendance
All contact details, including emergency contacts, will be taken upon arrival. In the unlikely event of a medical situation, we always attempt to contact you first, then your emergency contact, and then we consult with your own vet first – however we are supported by the wonderful people at Wandin Vet Clinic, which is our local vet on call.
In the case of an emergency, they are happy to liaise with your vet if needed.
We have fantastic vets in our area so there is no shortage of superb care for our guests when needed.
